I know Fathers Day has come and gone, but I have a couple of pictures I wanted to post of Layth and Soren on Fathers Day. Layth requested a picnic and hike after church on Fathers Day so we headed to Silver Creek Falls - a state park with 5 or 6 beautiful falls along the course of a 7 mile hike. It was a perfect day for it - not too hot and not too cold and we had a great time. It reminded me of my childhood when we would pack up and leave from church for Asahel Curtis - a park near Snoqualmie Pass. We would spend the entire day there in the river, hiking around and pumping water from an old pump (it was a novelty as a kid!).
Here are a couple of pictures from our hike:

Sure looks like fun! I hope my parents take me there one of these days! Have fun at the island. I'm about ready for a vaccation myself. Mom's been running me around like crazy! You'd think gas was cheap as water the way we've been going.
