Rowles Family Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend up in Bothell with the Rowles Family. Gregg and Darcy and family were in town from Michigan and so we all descended on Shawn and Karin's home for a couple of days. Here are some of the highlights. Pictures always tell the story best...
The Park:
This is Soren on the slide. He must have slid down this a hundred times. You can see the pure enjoyment on his face (and by looking at his hair). He LOVED it. He tried some smaller ones, but this one was his favorite by far. I think this now is going to be logged as one of my all-time favorite pictures of him. He is all-boy!

The Dinner:
Saturday night Jim and JoAnn took us all out to the Old Spaghetti Factory. We had a really fun time and ate way too much good food! Here is a picture of the whole crew.

The Kids:
And, JoAnn made medals for all the grandkids in honor of the Olympics. They all say their name on the back with "Grandma's Champion". Notice they all got a gold. Trying to get 5 kids under the age of 4 to all stand still and smile at the same time is quite the ordeal. I think JoAnn did a pretty good job, myself. Here's the little Rowles crew:

We left Soren with Jim and JoAnn (grandpa and grandma) while we came back down south. We have a very busy 3 days and Soren will get a whole lot more attention there than he would here. So, he went to Ellensburg and we came home. His absence leaves quite a big hole here... I miss the little guy terribly. But I am getting a lot done! And, we head to Ellensburg on Wednesday.
