The "Wisconsin Cabin"

This is supposed to be farther down in chronological order, but oh well.

After our time in Dixon and the family reunions, we went to Milwaukee and stayed in a condo that my dad owns there. The building in the middle (the tall one) is where the condo is located on the 8th floor. We had such a wonderful time there and the condo served our needs perfectly and managed to even survive a very active 3 year old... well, for the most part! It was a very nice get-away in the heart of the city and we found a ton to do (too much to even begin to really experience it all) and enjoyed the fact that we could get "anywhere" we might need to get in just a matter of minutes and blocks. The condo is located right on the main drag through Milwaukee and is an ideal location.

Here is the building. Soren still talks about how he "slept in the skyscraper". It was very exciting to him.

Home sweet home, Layth coming in the front door. The condo had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, eating area and living area. Lots of room.

Layth getting the steaks we bought, already marinated at the Public Market, ready to BBQ down on the Garden Rooftop (floor 6)

A delicious meal that was thoroughly enjoyed by all, in the condo.
