We took a day trip a couple of weeks ago to the coast. It was a beautiful day and we had a ton of fun. We don't do many day trips so this was a rare treat. We left our house around 9:00, stopped at Great Harvest for a slice of bread and coffee, headed to the coast, made a stop at the oulets, had lunch and then on to the Aquarium where we spent the entire afternoon. Soren Loved the aquarium and ran from tank to tank investigating. He had a really great time. Afterwards we went to a park for an hour or so and then onto Seakrest, a lodge right on the coast, where Campus Ambassadors was having their annual fall retreat. We were just going to stop in for a minute to say hi, but upon arriving Layth found out that dinner was curry chicken with a coconut peanut butter sauce and we were invited to stay. There was no discussion, we stayed. Through dinner and then through the evening. We arrived back home after 10:00 that night. What a great day. Here are some pictures to document our adventure:
Soren and I "in" the crab tank
Soren and Layth spent quite a bit of time at the tank where you could touch the animals.

It is late here... we were saying our goodbyes at Seakrest and getting ready to leave for home when I realized that we'd not taken a family picture all day. So, here we are on the last leg of our day trip to the coast adventure.
