I kind of posted these backwards... We just spent almost two weeks on the road - in the Seattle area and then over in Ellensburg.

This was the last day of our trip. Labor Day and a perfect last day of summer. We went up to Teanaway and had a picnic, played in the river and Layth, Jim and I took a hike. The weather was fantastic and it was very relaxing. I think we've found our annual Labor Day outing!

I took a picture as we started our hike (climb) of JoAnn and the kids below.


"Cheese Rock" - Layth came here as a kid and our goal when we set out on the hike was to find the rock. We found it.


A huge slab of rock that extended to the left, right and behind even further than this picture depicts.


Soren played in the river all day. He loved it and tears were shed when it was time to leave.
