Mornings...

A big morning wake up yawn from Keiton... he's six weeks old now!

Big Brother is awake and can hardly wait to get his hands on his little brother. It appears that little brother is quite interested in Soren as well.

Keiton and Soren having a morning conversation (I don't remember what it was about)

A good morning kiss

I have to admit that these photos of Soren and Keiton are a little misleading in that; it's not always this "innocent". Soren has his moments of playing a little rough with Keiton - laying on him, stepping on him, trying to pick him up, putting his knee in his face (I'm not sure what that is all about, but I've seen it in process now more than once), feeding him - today I found graham cracker crumbs on Keiton's face and chin and when I asked Soren about it he admitted that he gave Keiton graham crackers. I missed it all so am not sure how much went in or if any went down. There have also been times when Keiton's sudden outburst of crying has sent me running to where he was to find big brother with an "oh so innocent" look in his big brown eyes right next to him. I guess sometimes its better not to know; as long as little brother is OK, right?!...

Soren is more and more interested in his little brother and pretty much bugs him all day long. For Keiton to get a long nap I have to put him down somewhere that Soren won't discover and when Soren asks where "baby brother Keiter is" I just simply say "Baby brother Keiter is sleeping and doesn't want to be played with or touched right now". When I say that he usually says something like "Soren give baby brother Keiter a hug and kiss" hoping that the "nice guy tactic" will win me over and I'll reveal Keiton's location. I can see right through it though. Today Keiton was asleep in our room and Soren did discover him and I found him sitting next to Keiton (eating a graham cracker!) with his special white blanket laid on Keiton and his Blues Clues Dog, Blue laying next to/on top of Keiton. It warmed my heart. Soren - in general - does a good job of taking care of Keiton; even to the extent to giving up his own blanket and his favorite stuffed animals.

So cool. Nika goes so far as to push a chair next to christian's crib, climb in the crib, and shake a sippy cup all over Christian as he sleeps. That girl amazes me.

I loved browsing through all the new pictures! Thanks for posting them to enjoy. I especially like the ones of the brothers. If only life were always so blissful.
