In other news - Soren continues to grow like crazy and be as active as ever. He is a lot of fun and not without challenges at times too! A couple of days ago he did something to his knee and so he cannot walk on his left leg. We went in yesterday and had a doctor look at it who prescribed X-rays. The doctor will call today with the results. He can now hobble on it, sort of. Poor kid.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with most of Layth's family here. Lots of activity in the house now that there are so many little kids. The house is still standing though and I think it was a great holiday for everyone that came.
I've attached some more pictures here. I"m in the "staying out of photos" phase (well, except for the church directory pictures that are being taken tonight) and so you'll see Soren for the most part.
These pictures were taken this fall while at the park:

We spent an afternoon at Bauman Farms with some friends from church. Soren's favorite thing by far was a HUGE tube slide. I thought Layth was going down it with him, until I realized Layth was at the bottom and had sent a friend up to put Soren in the slide so that he could come down by HIMSELF. He really liked it because he slid over and over and over and tears were shed when it was finally time to leave. Here is a progression series:

Soren was Buzz Light Year this year - compliments of his Grandma JoAnn. We have good friends who moved into a house with a Buzz Light Year Room. The pictures below speak for it. Soren is yelling "to infinity and beyond!" in this photo. Well, he's saying something like that - in 2 year old language.
